Exhausting weekend… but really pretty exhilarated, too. The tree, that damned tree, this cool tree set-piece for As You Like It is pretty much done (save for touch-ups)…
After a mega painting session Saturday, headed up by our high school-student painting expert, Sasha, we painted the tree…
we added the Shakespearean sonnet leaves, and finally–after so many trials and tribulations (and some moments of dark doubts in the mind of yours truly)–we were able to put the whole thing together.
And it is lovely, this tree that has grown in Camarillo…
