So, just wanted to share something that happened Sunday night at the closing of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Independent Shakespeare Company…
As I have mentioned before on numerous occasions, Indy Shakes puts on free Shakespeare in Los Angeles’ Griffith Park during the summer. Well, Sunday was their last show of the season, and luck would have it they hit a technical glitch… or rather cataclysm.
The power went out.
The park, stage, and audience plunged into darkness.
What do they say about “the show must go on”?
Well, this happened.

The audience lit the stage with their cell phones.
That is the magic.
I wan’t there, but when I read about this, it brought tears to my eyes.
