OK, so I had planned something different for today, but I read something yesterday that I just want to share…
So this month, there’s a new Shakespeare production opening in Los Angeles (granted, there’s a boatload, as it’s summer and festival season is kicking off).
But it’s kind of special on a couple of different levels:
It’s a combination of Henry the Fourth, Parts One and Two.
It stars Tom Hanks as Falstaff.
Now, normally, I wouldn’t even mention it, but yesterday Entertainment Weekly ran such an incredible rave review, that I can’t resist but link to it. And they’re not alone in their praise: the LA Times and Variety were impressed as well…
Let’s just say, I’m am jazzed that Lisa and I have tickets for a performance later in the month!
