Say “I bought it on eBay”…

OK, so I don’t know how many of you heard about this, but the Royal Shakespeare Company is auctioning off some of its past costume and props…

And unlike most auctions, this is not some hoity-toity in-person solemn affair done in near silence with raised markers and all. No, my friends, this is an eBay auction. Proceeds go to the RSC’s “Stitch in Time” campaign to support the restoration and redevelopment of their Costume Workshop.

Now there’s a boatload of items up for sale (81 items to be exact), but there are a couple that caught my eye:

Hoof boots from 2008’s Midsummer’s Puck (understudy):

But don’t get too excited, my non-UK brethren: they will only post to the UK… all others? They don’t say (beyond contact the seller…the form for which will only take UK information)…
