Ah, my annual (hopefully) sojourn to Ashland for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival…

Capsule then full reviews are coming soon, but suffice to say, I love this place.
Flew in Wednesday afternoon, and caught The Winter’s Tale that night in the outdoor theater.
Saw the first preview performance of Timon of Athens yesterday afternoon in the (air-conditioned [100 degrees outside]!) Bowmer, then back outside for Hamlet during the evening.
Today a lecture on Hamlet, then Richard II tonight, and wrapping it all up with Twelfth Night tomorrow night.
Like I said, reviews (like winter in Game of Thrones) are coming…but here’s a clue to what–so far–has been the highlight:
Holy sweet jesus. Intermission at #TimonOSF … wow. If Fellini and Greenway had a lovechild on acid, this would be it. Can’t wait for act 2
