A Change in Plans

You know me, always thinking.

And I’ve been thinking about what is about to happen:

Hamlet.

The longest play. The most famous play. The one with (arguably) the most filmed versions (and if not, it sure does feel like it as I look ahead).

I want to do it right.

And the next two months are going to be busy, personally (and professionally): My son Kyle will be competing in the Division III NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships in Shenandoah, Texas, during the third week of March. In the first week of April, I’ll be attending the annual conference of the Shakespeare Association of America. In the second week of April, I’ll be doing a Shakespeare presentation. And my son Jack will be in the midst of high school swim and club water polo season.

I know: boo-freakin’-hoo.

So…

To do this right. I’m going to do Hamlet over the course of THREE months not two. I don’t think this is going to throw (m)any of you off, but I just wanted to give you a head’s up.
