My favorites to date were Ojai Shakespeare Festival productions at the Libby Bowl. Something magical about the intimate setting. Loved seeing Midsummer Nights Dream back in probably 1999? After The Tempest my kids and their friends all voted Caliban the best character and sang his song the whole way home. Best for captivating kids. Oh and I absolutely love the seriously bawdy versions of Shakespeare at the Renaissance Faire. (Best for captivating teens!)

There s NOTHING like open air Shakespeare!  Ojai is a great venue... I've been derelict in my duty getting out there for the last decade or so... but I can't wait what's on the schedule for next summer!
